Day Awaits
Day Awaits
Song Sparrow insists
with chirps and trills
that Day must wake
before Sun stretches
across flower beds.
Song Sparrow drafts the day,
a clipped composition,
a collage of notes and rests.
Song Sparrow leaves space
for others to join.
Wind, too still to tap,
too shy to chime or tinkle.
Burst of poppy yellow
symphonies
down the hillside.
Green canoe atop
the Ford is silent.

✨Love & Light for Today:
“Trust is built the long way; by showing up again and again, doing the unglamorous work, and strengthening local systems instead of trying to replace them.”
— Dev Karan
What is remarkable within your local system?
What unglamorous work is yours to do?
