Idiotology

Yes, that’s a word now.  
Ideology aside, brain buckets 
are full to overflowing, 

sloshing and spilling
a slurry of misinformed sludge,
there’s a grudge against science,

numbers are twisted and twixzled 
tariffs are twirled and twerked,
words are as flimsy as film.

If this were season five 
of a science fiction series, 
this show would be canceled. 

Gratuitous promiscuity, 
unfounded attacks. 
Cons vex, refuse to cave,

distortion is everyday fare. 
Reality is no fun house.
Due process is under duress.

Humanity is held in abeyance. 
Idiots rule the land. 
Court orders are disobeyed.

Stop their ology.
