Justice Weeps, Again
Justice Weeps, Again
For every injustice,
for every lack of decency,
Justice weeps, again.
For greed that supercedes,
Justice weeps, again.
For deaths deemed admissible,
Justice weeps, again.
For every ignored hunger,
for each unhoused soul,
Justice weeps, again.
For every tragic outcome,
Justice weeps, again.
We, the people
are heartbroken,
and yet, we vote.
- Mary Louise Peters✨Love & Light for Today:
“Because the future isn’t shaped by a handful of grand gestures. It’s shaped by millions of individuals who decide, day by day, not to accept what they know can be better. And when enough people make that decision, the collective inevitably follows.”
— Jane Barlow Christensen
