Learnings 

There’s a small lesson 
in almost everything. 
Inside the clay-hard poppy pod, 
enough teaching to flower a field. 
Every dried marigold, 
a land of study. 

Our friend says,
I’ve learned 
and I’ve learned 
and I’ve learned. 
Just BE.
 
Change is so needed
on every front.
Kudzu advances. 

There are seasons 
that make seeds,
seasons of vine and twine, 
seasons to ponder.
Nature has her ways. 

We don’t know the future, 
that’s what l always say.
So far I’m right.
