One Name

One Name

One names fails to encompass, 
falls short of praise. 
One name is plainness.

“Rose” does elicit full perfume, 
only hints at bud, blossom, 
petals tossed by wind 

or sprinkled by toddler’s chubby fist.
One name is like chiseled marble,
a lifeless cherub with garlands.

One name congers incompletely.

fuss-less fuchsia floats in fullness.
