Yes, I make granola and I know my way around sourdough starter.
Sure, I have dabbled with meter and rhyme. I have been known to go formless.
There isn’t a sunrise or sunset that can’t stop my heart. Don’t get me started on cloud formations or moss.
Anything that is a chemistry lab in the world, chlorophyll in lily pads. Have I told you about the time I saw Ghost Pipes in our yard? How the bells were silent, the pipes did not play?
Any turn of phrase, translations that don’t quite stick the landing, innocent aphorisms spoken by children, all stop my heart.
Hope on a wing or a wire, grace in a moment that gasps, I pause for every live exchange.
